Dear Ministry Partners and Friends,
Please join us in praising God for the successful Apollos Project seminars in Kuwait and 4 Emirates in UAE (Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi) last April 6 to May 12. About 500 pastors and lay leaders were trained on how to study the Bible accurately and preach it adequately. Bro. Ronnie Lazala who attended the Dubai seminar emailed me to say,
“I just would like to thank you for the seminar that you have conducted and I’m trying my best to apply what I have learned from your seminar. I really wish we can have more seminars like this because it
would really help a lot of pastors in their preaching. I have never been this excited in preparing for a sermon! Satwa Pastors and the whole congregation would love to have you back.”
Also Bro. Malloy Cabahug who attended the seminar in Al Ain wrote in his blog,
“All I can say on the seminar is WOW! From the first day to the last, I have experienced no dull moment. I am sure that most of the participants felt the same way too. He was such a brilliant civil engineer commissioned by God to lay in our hearts and minds the necessary foundations to discover the Bible accurately and share it to others adequately. If I compare my attendance to the 4-day seminar conducted by Dr. Roy to getting inside a car showroom, I may have thought to have gone to the showroom expecting to drive a Honda Civic full option, but only to realize that going out of the showroom I was now driving a Lamborghini. That was how imbalance my expectations about the seminar and my real experience after completing it. It is my prayer and hope that God would someday build up so many Dr. Roys in order to do the same ministry.”
Glory to God indeed for answering our prayers! I’m now back in Cebu and getting ready for our June schedules: June 6-7 (Bulacan); June 20-21 (Tagbilaran, Bohol); & June 30-July 1 (Cebu City). Plans are now underway for me to go to Qatar and back to Kuwait in October. Please pray also for the possibility of ministering to the Filipino pastors and lay workers in Europe this November.
